Support at every stage of your kidney health Journey
Peer Pals is the UK’s first and only app for kidney patients to discuss all things kidney related.
Created by a kidney patient, Peer Pals is designed to alleviate the stress, isolation, and confusion of being a kidney patients.
Why?
Having kidney problems isn’t easy. It can be exhausting, scary and lonely for the patient. And it’s not easy for their family and friends either!
That’s why we want to the build the best, most supportive kidney community imaginable.
We want patients, families and friends to share their experiences, top tips and hacks. We want this to be the place to come for moral support; no Peer Pal should ever feel alone.
Peer Pals aims to be the place where we make each others lives that little bit better by ensuring there is practical and moral support!

Peer Pals is a fantastic idea. I found that medical staff don’t understand the patient experience like other patients.
This is why this is so valuable to us.

How?
Every kidney patient has their own story, unique to them.
What isn’t unique is the feelings we all suffer.
We all get thirsty on dialysis! We all get extreme tiredness when our kidneys are failing! The nausea can be horrendous! We all get scared and confused!
It’s such a shame that often feel along when we are going through this. This is because we aren’t connected as a community. Let’s change that by sharing our experiences.
By doing this we can learn from others, feel bounded by our share experience and receive much needed moral support.
